Just got back from the dealer, went in with a few complaints, and they are all being fixed under warranty. The Charger has 36,000km on it right now, purchased in April
1) Need new tires...not warranty, but I don't drive that hard, and rotated the tires as requested. I drove my old Dakota R/T harder, and the GoodYears were good for about 50,000km, without rotating them. I would replace the back ones, move the front to the back, and go for another year. Not happy at all about the quality. Gonna cost me at least $800 to replace them
2) Heater fan blade seems to be hitting the side of the box at low speeds, will be replaced under warrranty
3) There are stonechips on the trunklid that are rusting  The dealer figures that it happened during transport...the car was built a year ago. They will repaint it, and have no problem waiting until spring like I requested. This has me really ticked off.
I guess the best we can do is keep an eye on everything, and hope for the best.

Yeah that's pretty miserable. I wouldn't be pleased about that either. Stay on them to make sure that it gets done

So now I do not feel so bad putting in 30k on my car with 11 mths.. You're worst than me... I went thru my tires quickly as well, but that was due to my 22in rims, bad roads I was driving in for 6 straight hrs at a time. and BAD BAD BOY on my part.. My tires size was bigger in the back than the front So I never rotated them..
Anyway I paid buy bucks on 4 new tires, all the size 265/35/22 Got a life time wheel aligment from Firestone.. So whenever I change my oil.. I rotate my tires and get a wheel aligment.

The service department knows I talk to the owner on a regular basis, he's a great guy. They know that I am a loyal customer, but I will leave if I'm not happy. I've sent quite a bit of business their way. My old man dropped 60g's on a diesel Jeep Cherokee, because I was so happy with the dealership. They have offered to replace the tires at 10% over cost, which isn't bad at all. I'm just a little disappointed that my car needs that much work.

Keep us posted, wow the fan problem never read that before. But I'm surprised they never caught the damage on your car...kinda odd.

A little over 22,000 miles is a little dissapointing to have to replace tires, but I can only assume that the stock tires are made from a soft compund that gives you better traction, but less longevity. Driving habits do play a role too, but I know you knew that. :Racing: My tires I hope will give me long life, I couldn't burn rubber if I tried, so no worries there.

Quick update...an old friend hooked me up with some Cooper CSV4s...I'm very impressed with them, especially since they are Coopers. They costed me $175 per tire, and handle very well in snow, ice and rain, as well as dry pavement. Much cheaper than the dealer quoted, and very impressive for the price.
The fan has been replaced under warranty, no big deal at all. Going to wait until at least April to get the paint fixed, they already told me they will get me a loaner as they will need it for a couple days.

Glad it/s working out for you. That does sound like a good price on the tires.

Glad you got the fan fixed up. The Goodyears must be pretty soft. Thanks for the heads-up on the Coopers. Post up some pictures of the new treads when you get a chance.
