View Full Version : Question on Dual-Zone Climate Control

My Daytona has the dual-zone climate control, and has the two "auto" settings: Lo & Normal. I don't detect any difference in fan speed between the two auto settings. This is true both for winter and summer. When there's a large temperature differential between the interior temperature and the requested temperature, the fan comes on pretty strong on both auto settings.
Is this normal, or is there something wrong with my car?
Thanks,
Bob

In AUTO you have 2 settings Hi and Lo. In Hi your fan will blow higher until it reaches temp Lo will do the same it will blow hard until it reaches the temp you have it set at. Once it reaches temp the fan will slow down.
In NORMAL if you set the fan switch to any setting the fan will stay at that speed.
Remember the temp gauge is the really small round think just above your dual control box. keep warm or cold things away from it.

In the auto "HI" setting more air is blown out of the rear vents for the back seat passengers. The owners manual says the use the HI setting whenever people are seated in the back.

AceRock, thank for the answer. I guess sometimes it does pay to read the manual.
