How many of you are looking to seriously upgrade to the SRT? I know everybody wants an SRT but I mean actually buying the car in the near future?

Not in the next month, but yes in the future, when everything comes together, money, wife replaces here 120k mile Subaru, and then my car will be my own and wont see as many miles on the weekends or even during the week, as I plan to start biking to work. But it will happen eventually. Im too addicted to horsepower!

I'm very happy with mine. I know I lose a bunch of HP to the SRT but you can only use the horsepower around here so seldom (I don't like the idea of the province taking my car for a week). But I gain some in MPG and I use the gas all the time. Primarily, the reason I got the car is the styling and the 4 doors and we all have that.

Yea when it comes down to it, it's pretty much personal preference. I think there is ONLY 1 reason why we all bought a Charger and that was because its a nice car, all of the other reasons on what trim you got is a personal preference.
The main reason why I am upgrading to the SRT is because I can do damage on the drag track, the 3.5 with mods is dangerous on the street but not enough for the track without serious mods which I just dont see fit with the amount of wrench time and money that goes into it.
The SRT all I would need is flowmaster exhaust, JBA headers, CAI, and diablo.

Bull, once you get that, you will wanting to do a whole lot more!:TU: And you dont put JBA's, only long tubes. Stock headers are shorties, and are decent

Unfortunately your probably right lol......thank you for the correction about the headers, I guess I have a lot to learn about this car but there is plenty of time for me to research it. :TU:

The price is falling through the roof with the weaker economy and horrible gas prices, lucky for us SRT wannabees
