I'm looking at getting some Green LED lights installed in my Daytona. I thought it would be a cool thing to have a light or two installed behind the grill of the car. Just imagine looking in your rear view mirror and see a Daytona with the Grill Glowing GREEN! Also I wanted to add some LED lights near the floor so that the floor of the car glows green. Anyone know if this is possible and where I could find a good price and get this done?

Just thought you might want to check your local laws, because most places have laws againstlight other then white, red, and amber.on the front or rear of a car. I got a ticket for it back in 1970, had them on a switch and the cop wouldn't let me just turn them off.

Check out this thread http://chargerforumz.com/showthread.php?t=1094&highlight=dome

There is a link to company that sells bulbs to replace dome lights and other interior lights that are all kinds of colors. Probably get you started. The make the light sockets too.

Yea that definately helped out a lot. Just another question, would I be able to install the lights by myself or have someone do it. I really dont know how to take out the overhead lights in the charger.

You could replace your current dome light bulbs and the ones down low in the car that light the floor board. Not tuff at all just read into a couple of threads.

It sounds like you might need help to mount new sockets and add additional bulbs. Don't want to blow a bunch of fuses and don't cut into the factory wiring harness.

Make friends with a stereo installer they can handle things like this!

Hey i have done some LED work on the exterior of my daytona as well. Here is a video of the exterior and i am working on gettin the orange glow for the interior as well. I have installed orange LEDs under the dash to make the foot wells glow and also under the seats for the rear passengers foot wells. I have also installed cold cathodes behind the vents so orange glows out of those as well. here is my youtube video of the exterior. Interior pics to come...
