Backup monitor hardwire

so my idea is to hardwire my backup camera's monitor up into the sunglass holder. I figure it's close to the rearview mirror, and could be concealed when not in use. I need to know if there is an easy power patch in that area a novice like myself could use, to make a clean install. Has anyone installed to that location ?

not that I would ever advocate another forum, however there is a guy on a diferent charger forum that just posted the wiring he did on the same project!
I am going to do the same install for my GPS when it arrives ::hoping it will fit::

Why not just integrate the back up camera into the navigation monitor like I've seen some do?
