Has anyone performed the High Horse Performance stage II Mods to a Charger SRT?
Being from NC, how do you get your car to them? Ship it or Drive?
I am torn between Henessey and High Horse Performance.... It looks as if HHP has more knowledge regarding LX cars, but Henessey has been around awhile.
Anyone have any knowledge that could help me make the choice?

I heard they have a Stage III coming out but I've been checking the site and no prices or info on it!

Why would you need to go to them for the install? There are plenty of capable shops much closer. You can even go to Mopar Super Center (Rick Hendrick Chrysler) in Charleston, and they'll install it for you for the same price HHP would charge. And I'll agree with Electrofied - the Frank Racing stuff will outrun the comparable HHP stuff. FRI were the innovators of hard running cams that are computer friendly - the rest just followed their design leads. It's like the old saying goes - "often imitated, but never duplicated!" And the FRI stuff is MUCH cheaper! No offense to HHP, I've bought several items from them, and will again - just not heads and cams.....
And even though there are stage III stuff coming out - just remember that bigger is not always better! A big cam in these cars will only be beneficial if we can get them to shift in the 6800 rpm range - which would require a whole host of other upgrades. If you want something that pulls hard off the line, and stays running hard throughout the entire range, go with a smaller cam.

Electrofied here again... HHP is not on the ForumZZZ at all. I am with 402 Motoring and the only distributor for the FRI cams and heads. WE sell them for the same price as FRI does.
You tell me what your objective is, your requirements, and I can set you up based on your needs.
You are more than welcome to call me to discuss a package that is right for you.
The Techs at other shops, although DCX techs they may be, make more mistakes than backyard mechanics... When someone like myself can go in behind them and find sensors not plugged in, hoses not connected, etc, it says a lot about their interest in providing great service.
And let me clarify back yard mechanics... If you want some clarification of what it takes to install this yourself contact Hemi31, Eric. He is phenominal and he is not a professional either.
A back yard mechanic usually knows the tricks and can give great tips on installing parts yourself.

Good points all around.

I was looking for a tuner around the Charlotte area, but could not get one that had a lot of HEMI experience. It's definitely a GM town. I am looking for a strong engine that is reliable, HHP had the knowledge, HEMI experience and has been in business for 4 years an not a startup. I appreciate your Charleston suggestion... thanks for the info.

Spend 1 hour on the phone with Lee at Frank Racing (it's impossible to get him off the phone in anything less!). I guarantee you will have a whole new perspective on what real Hemi knowledge is!
But the guys in Charleston are a great group. Excellent work - and you can go vacation for a couple of days in the city while you wait :)
If I had the time these days, I would tell you to just drop it off with me for a couple of days, and you can see how easy it really is. I've done it 4 times already - and will probably do it again sometime soon :)
