Thought I would start a new thread on this one due to increased interest and questions. The SRT8 uses a floating-pin flat top piston. I personally do not know of any that are not forged but there certainly may be. Check this site for wet vs dry and direct port nitrous injection. It is right good. www.barrygrant.com/nitrous/default.aspx?page=115b (http://www.barrygrant.com/nitrous/default.aspx?page=115b) Hope this helps someone.

Yes. For nitrous applications, our weak point is our cast pistons. I've though about getting nitrous-specific pistons and forged rods.
The bigger problem is the very short distance between the top of our pistons and the top ring land.
Properly tuned, 125 HP has been fine. I'm probably stepping up to about 137HP with mine.
