I am picking up a take off exhaust from a 2019 Charger RT and will be installing on my 2016 RT.

I know the overall piping is supposed to be 2.75” and the 2016 and older is 2.5”.

I am curious if the 2019 catback will bolt right up or if I will need reducers for the catback to fit on the 2016 mid-pipes.

Any help is appreciated.

I plan to use some stainless safety wire to hold them in the open position. I’ll be removing the solonoids

It’s official. The 2019 R/T exhaust fits like a glove on a 2016 R/T AND sounds absolutely amazing. I removed the active exhaust solenoids and used stainless safety wire to hold the valves open.

After the Mid-Pipes, the piping steps up to 2.75” and continues through the rest of the exhaust. It is slightly louder than I thought it would be , but still sounds great.
