I'm having trouble installing a RS730 alarm system on my charger. I have the ads-al-ca idatalink module which is wired correctly and was programmed correctly. Now when I try to program the alarm system, I don't get any feedback from the alarm (siren or led). I have the module and the alarm system connected via rs232 cable.

I tried to reset the module, but the light isn't working. I don't know if it's because it's already program or just waiting for the alarm to be programmed. When I leave my doors open and connect the yellow wire from the idatalink module, the door chimes until it's closed, so I guess the module is working.....

Is there anyway I can hook the alarm up using basic connections to see if it's operational?

Are there more wires I'm suppose to connect from the alarm system other than the power, ground, and the wires on the idatalink install guide?
