Getting ready to order my flowmaster cat back, it's 2.5 in & out but wondering will 3" work, will it mate up to the exit on the cats. Anybody running a 3" cat back ? Any issues ? All input welcome

I have 3inch and I had to have the pipe put on a spreader thing to open it up.
