Anybody put a 20 x 10.5 on the rear yet? Will it fit w/out mods? What size tire w/out mods? Any help/comments are much appreciated...

I can't answer your question directly, but I'm sure others with more knowledge will chime in soon. That said, go to the tirerack website and check their tire size calculator. Play around with different sizes and specs to find out some neat info. They will give you the recommended tire sizes and everything.

Thanx SC48...I went to tirerack.com and was able to figure out that a 22 x 11 fits...So a 20 x 10.5 should fit w/ no prob

TireRack reccommends a 255/45-20 for a 20x10 wheel :shakehead:

Hopefully people start getting adventurous with their 2nd-gen wheel choices so we know what fits and what hits. Eventually I'd like to run 20x9.5/20x10.5 with 275/315s but I don't have the bankroll to be the guinea-pig.

I'm looking into 20 x 9.0/20 x 10.5...Not sure what tire size yet though...Contemplating Forgestar F14's or Giovanna Califive's...Of course the Califive's don't come in a 10.5...I want the look of the Red Lexus on Forgestar's website...Real 'Bully' look

255 is the recommended minimum. I know for a a fact that at least 2 members with a new gen have gone with 275 and 285 without a problem on a 10. It's been done before, I just can't remember who!

All the 255/45-20 tires I looked at (I'm not checking all 26 of them) listed 9.5" as the max wheel width. Even if they do technically fit, which I'm not convinced they do, they're going to be stretched and look AWFUL.

Yeah...I'm not into that 'round' look...I'm interested in the 'perpendicular to the road' look...I had talked to a friend at Discount Tire and he said a 285 would fit a 20x10 nicely for sure but was unsure about a larger tire or wheel fitting w/ out rubbing the suspension or inside the fender...He's on the conservative though

I'm running 305/35/22 so you should be fine. Had a few problems, but would have been fine if I was running 295/35. My rims are 22x9 in front and 22x10 in the rear

I'm running 255x45x20 on my stock rims...all four. I have seen folks on this sight post that they are running 275x40x20 on 9" rims on all four as well.

I'm not sure if the wheel weld opening is the same size as the 1st gen but 295/40/20 fit just fine. 305/35/20 and 315/35/20 also fit but you may have to roll the fenders, especially if you have lowered your ride. As far as diameter, they all are within .5 inches compare to 255/45/20 so there are no issues. I have 20x10.5 with 315's, fenders rolled and lowered. Hope this helps.

I am running a 295/40-20 on a 20x10 with a +18 offset. I get a rub on occasional big dips or bumps, particularly with four people in the car. It has not been often enough that I have been able to tell where it is touching. Hoping it won't get much worse with the eibach drop I plan to do.

Is it rubbing in the rear or front? I'd assume the front....

I am running 10.5 niche wheels. 275 40 20s. It's lowered on h&r springs. No problems. I put 295 40 20s and to big. It rubbed. Hope it helps
