2012 Dodge Chargers anti theft code

I have a 2012 Ex state charger 5.7. I wanted to upgrade my radio from the 4 inch to the 8.4 U-connect. I bought the new parts, the radio, receiver that goes behind the climate control. And a bezel. I go to dodge to get the anti theft code and when I get it and put the code in it’ll say incorrect anti theft code. This isn’t the first time this has happened I’ve probably bought 4-5 different radios all coming out of 2011-2014 chargers and 300s. Same result. Wondering if anyone else had this problem before and knows what to do

Not me. I put in a 2014 300 nav in my 2013.

Was it a ex state car or just a base RT?
You need the theft code for the Actual Radio you are putting in, not your car.

There are website online that can do it. Otherwise dealer may require proof of purchase, and vehicle vin radio was pulled from.

Being a Pursuit changes none of this.
