Anyone figure out why a cluster is stuck in miles when it's a Canadian cluster going into a Canadian car?
I used two "long nuts" (M5, 20mm; SN-TEC Distanzmutter/Langmutter/Distanzbolzen 6-kant M5 x 20mm verzinkt (10 Stück): Amazon.de: Baumarkt) on the bottem attached with 2k glue (UHU 2-Komponentenkleber Plus Endfest, Glasklarer und höchst belastbarer 2K-Klebstoff in einer praktischen Doppelkammerspritze für einen Auftrag im korrekten Mischverhältnis, 25 g: Amazon.de: Bürobedarf & Schreibwaren).Has anyone found a good way to mount the 8.4 display for this mod? Other than gorilla tape if so please post pics to the thread please. If it has already been mentioned in the thread and I missed it please let me know which page it is on.
Du you know a way to change to metric? I could not find a way. I changed my odometer yea but I to do it in mls although I have an canadian car in germany. With AlfaOBD you have to make most if not all numerical changes in metric such as TPMS, Odometer miles, and the like and then change them to imperial in the Uconnect menu(s).
Mileage was easy to change. Twas the engine hours that never did anything.Engine hours (a feature for the police pkg) or mileage? --If it is the mileage try this trick. When you set the mileage, enter the correct number, then repeatedly set the mileage in rapid succession at least 3 times, not even giving the continental logo time to go away. after the third time let the cluster finish booting. If that does not work, change the mileage slightly to a rounded number, then repeat this process.
Bezel is the dash insert piece that surrounds the cluster and radio and houses the three vents. The 2015 Screens mount to the dash, where as 11-14 mount to the bezel so some work is required on your part to make it work. I uses zip ties, paper, and 4 pennies.Ok been trying to read all this eyes starting to hurt now. So what all do I need
- dash bezel (what is that exactly)
- scan tool
