What kind of prices drops can we expect on the older models when 2018 hits the showrooms? Also, should I look as soon as 2018 starts rolling out or a bit after?

    Thank you.

Once all dealers have a few 2018's on the lot is generally when you will see huge discounts on the left over 2017's to make more room. Depends on production start up each year.

Then after all the 2017's are gone and there are tons of 2018's, (March-April 2019), you will see the huge discounts again on the 2018's.

I have noticed this cycle the past few years.

I bought last Friday during the memorial day weekend sale. Got a 47k Daytona for 37k + 0% APR. Just had to negotiate a little, but it was worth it. I watched the prices drop at the dealer over the last few weeks. The guy said they are clearing 17s out so they can order 18s.

Cool. Thanks, hoping to pick up a 2017 or 2016 RT this year.

The prices have already dropped. I've seen many many people buy 2016 SP, Daytonas, and HC's for 8-10k+ off sticker. A few have done it on 2017's as well.

For the RT's, you should already be able to get 20% off sticker with some looking. The key is how you look. If you just head down to "the dealership" you're not likely to get a good deal. You have to cross shop multiple dealerships.

Just remember that the longer you wait, the slimmer the choices get, as the choice option cars will sell first.

May not have any 2016's left but you'll get a good deal on a 2017 probably a few months after the 2018's are on the lot.

I paid $28k for my 2016 RT with nav back in March of this year. :) So the prices are going to be great.

Up here in NW Wisc. as well as the Twin Cities area, the prices have not dropped. At two dealerships I was quoted $1500 off MSRP for a loaded Charger SXT Premium. It's no wonder there's so many unsold Chargers on the lots around us.

That's exactly what I paid for my brand new 16 RT in March. Seems like March is a good month to get the best deal!
