My issued patrol vehicle is a 2017 Dodge Charger Pursuit with the hemi and AWD.
Today, I pulled out of my parking spot at home, and the red lightning bolt began flashing suddenly, and the car began bogging down. Then, the red BRAKE warning light came on on the dash, along with the Stability Control service messages. The vehicle never died, but it felt like it was going to. When I applied the brakes, I literally had to put all I had into it because the car was trying to jump forward through the braking - at times, I didn't know if I would be able to stop or if it was going to jump forward while my brakes were applied. Once the brakes were released, the car would immediately thrust itself forward at a decent speed, still running very very rough. There was no smoke coming from the engine compartment, and the oil level was where it should have been.
Any ideas? Dodge, of course, can't ever come up with an answer... (rolls eyes)
