Plunk down about $6,000 for a kit, a few hundred more for "may-as-wells", perform the labor yourself or pay a professional to do it, then a few trips to a custom tuner, and bingo. For a few thousand bucks more than what you would have paid for a turn-key R/T, bingo, you've got a blown V-6 Charger.

With V-6 brakes, V-6 wheels, V-6 tires, V-6 suspension, V-6 exhaust, V-6 speedometer, etc.

It would be considerably easier and cheaper to make pigs fly, all you need to make that happen is a little space on a cargo plane.

But a supercharger kit is about 5,800 for the v6. By that time I could have bought that. I'm going to do something no one has done to the v6. As soon as I can do it.

You've lost me.
CtCarl, this guy has probably a dozen threads going about modifying a 3.6L all kinds of ways. He wants to do all kinds of mods to get the 6 cylinder to do as much as a Hellcat. He has asked about swapping motors, injecting, detecting, inspecting, rejecting, and all kinds of mean and nasty things...(oh, sorry, a little Alice's Restaurant flashback there). Anyway, just search on his name and find all his posts. Entertaining! Enjoy.

Oh, and he doesn't even have a car yet.

Yeah, I'm aware.

"I'm 16, but I'm turning 19 next week. I have a Charger 2.7, a Hyundai Tucson, and a Hellcat Challenger that was rear-ended by a Euclid dump truck at a salt mine. I want to put the Hellcat motor in the Charger, just to see if I can make the brakes burst into flame. Not just, you know, make them smoke and glow red, because that's been done before. I'm talking, like, fire shooting out of those little rotors so you can see the flames from the back seat. How many 200-to-0 MPH panic stops should that take?

Once I figure that out, I'll strap some milsurp JATO rockets to the Hyundai and jump an open drawbridge with it, then I want to yank out the Hellcat motor and drop the Tucson motor in the Charger. It should work, I mean a 2.7 is a 2.7, right? Don't tell me it can't be done, because I am determined to do it. And then I'll have something really special, a 2.7 Charger that actually runs.

Then I want to put the doors from the Challenger on the Charger. Not to make it a two-door, I want to keep the rear doors but just have really big front doors and really little rear doors, so you'd have to be Flat Stanley to get in the back."

Stuff like that.

Gotta start somewhere.
I think the rub here is your topics/posts appear to be all over the place and a bit similar to each other. Not to mention the fact that there have been probably dozens or more people coming in here asking the same things or something similar almost all of them to not get the answer(s) they are looking for and never come back. Don’t take it personally, it’s just the internet.

My honest advice is to first BUY the car. Then let’s start one by one and small on the mods, come here post questions and progress etc. And in a few years you may have that 3.6 beast you want and a community here of people who were here for your project. I promise you once you’ve reached 350-450 horsepower at the rear wheels you’ll have a different perspective. Just getting to RT or 392 levels will cost a shit ton on a 3.6, well over $10k. And once you get there you’ve likely spent as much as you would have had you bought an R/T and modded it for 450-550 wheel horsepower.

Just some friendly advice and wisdom.
