Hey all! thought I'd drop a question here, anyone run into intermittent warm air on passenger side when running A/C?
Sometimes the A/C is cool and sometimes warm but really only on passenger side. The driver side is always cool. Just upgraded from a 16 R/T to
an 18 Scatpack. Thanks!

My guess you are low on freon. I have gone through this with 2 Chargers in both cases the evaporator developed a small leak. The inlet for the freon is on the drivers side so that side cools first then as it gets to the passenger side it is no longer cool. It could be a blend door.

Yeah I suppose my pain is self chosen. I have heard of the dreaded evaporator issue. I've had the car 1 month and already replaced the engine mounts and rear differential. Luckily I have a warranty but dang lots of issues at 48k. Still, I love my chargers. Thanks for the feedback!!

Possibly a sticky actuator blend door. Possible easy fix:

  1. Turn car off
  2. Turn ac/heater off.
  3. Start car
  4. Cycle through all the ac/heater settings and from hot to cold.
