so just before I start pulling fuses has anyone pulled to fuse to keep it in full open? Or will it just not actuate and go in a neutral mode? Heard about it for B is for Build and thought it might work for our cars but haven’t tried it yet

If you pull the fuse you will throw a code and it will trigger the check engine light. In its default state the valves are closed. You can pull it in the first 15 seconds of startup and the valves will remain open. for your SP. I believe it is fuse 36. If you pull the connectors on the AEV themselves it will also throw a code.

I got the simulators from AES. Works perfectly. A lot louder. Glad I didn't go cutting up my exhaust.

OP, did you pull your fuse and get it to stay open? Before I invest in the AES system I want to see what it'll sound like so i'd like to do the same.

Can you confirm fuse number and the procedure for pulling it? Does it really have to be done within 15 seconds?

Cavity 36 in the trunk is listed as the Electronic Exhaust Valve Fuse, but not sure if that keeps it opened or close though

Sorry just noticed someone already stated this...nevermind

I actually want to deactivate the active valve and have it be closed at startup.
I can hear the bark of my scat packs exhaust from my bedroom in the mornings. I know my next door neighbors can and I really don't want to annoy them at 6:30 in the morning
