Anyone had this issue in their 13'? Particularly the SRT model. On three different occasions my adjustable pedals have adjusted on their own WHILE I WAS DRIVING! It caused me to accelerate very rapidly and I thought I was having a Toyota moment. Then I realized the pedals had moved forward quite a bit. My wife said the same thing happended to her the day before. Has anybody else had their charger do the same?

Yeah I'm making an appointment ASAP. Luckily I was on the freeway out in the open when it happened but imagine had it been while I was pulling into the garage. :O

I thought the pedals we not able to be adjusted while the car in drive, but I just tested and I am wrong. Pedals are adjustable no matter what.

I know the seat memory buttons do not work while in drive, did you check to make sure there isnt something next to the seat track that could be bumping the button, like an umbrella or something?

Damn dude. My first thought was something inadvertently hitting the switch on your seat. I'm sure the service guy will think the same thing. When you figure it out let us know what it was.

It started doing it much more erratically so I dropped it off today at the dealer. They called and said they ordered a new switch for the adjustable pedals. It was a voicemail so I wasn't able to speak to anyone to find out the exact problem but ill find out first thing in the morning.

Weird problem, I always forget the pedals are adjustable, once they were set for me I never needed to move them again.

So apparently it was a short in the adjustable pedal switch that was causing the problem. Supposed to get her back today so we shall see. Service guy jokingly said "Too much power!" I told him you can never have too much power.

Welp! Gonna be taking her back to the dealership. It hasn't been as bad but nevertheless it happened again.

I forgot about this thread! Well come to find out it was the entire module that controls those components that needed to be replaced. My original dealership did a half ass job and only replaced the switch. I took her back to a dealership closer to my house and they said the whole module should have been replaced in the first place. They did the repair free of charge and I haven't had any issues since (knock on wood) and its been two weeks. Hopefully nobody else has the same problem.

I have the exact same problem on my 2013! This is the first sign I've seen of anyone reporting it. Weird thing is it has never happened with my wife, only when my settings are used and I'm driving. If she uses my settings and keys it makes no difference. I'm curious if the switch fixed the problem. It seems to me like a mechanical problem would affect every driver using the car

Ha, just saw your last post. I guess I'll have to dig deep and get the body controls board replaced too. Sucks!

Had almost the same issue, expect my seat would recline by itself. Took it to one dealership and they replaced the switch... Took it to another and they "updated" firmware and that didn't fix it. Now it's back at the same dealership and they had one of the techs drive it home... It finally did it for them and they said it was a short somewhere. Didn't get all the details but it has been at the shop almost a week now. Once I hear what exactly they ordered and replaced ill post it.

My car did it, turned out to be a pinched wire.

just got a call yesterday, it will be about another week and a half untill I get my car back. They ordered a whole new wiring harness for the seat. It sucks that the weather has been so nice but I have been stuck driving my hooptie f-150.

    Adjustable foot pedals

Seems I am having a similar problem with my foot pedals on my 13 Charger adjusting on their own, while I'm driving. Yesterday they adjusted about 10 times while I was on the highway. I'll probably have to mention the switch, module or new seat wiring harness to the dealer.
