Hello,

I recently had the battery light come on while i was driving. It happened last year but it was my battery so i replaced it. Now today it rained a lot, and there was a lot of condensation outside and very foggy.
It starts right back up and i drove it for about 30 mins till i got home. I kept on turning it off and on and leaving it run for about 10 mins.

Could the moisture be causing the belt to slip not allowing it to charge propely and tripping the sensor?

Thanks for the help, really need advice.

Btw its a 2006 charger, 3.5 sxt.

Check the tension of the belt to see how tight/loose it is. Also check the wiring harness connections to the alternator and battery to see if they are tight/loose.
