I tried this a month ago for my annual pre-winter wax. I had horrific results with Mequires ultimate wax last year and wanted something different. I found a "Junkman", responce to a wax question that refered to this wax, he uses and reccomended this Collinite wax. I bought some (it's very cheap) and put it on. I must say that this is by far the BEST wax I have ever used! Try it at a fraction of the cost, you will be pleased with the results. I have tried many different wax products over the years and have never found such an outstanding product for the money.

Thanks for the review, I also had poor results with Mequiars ultimate wax and switched to Pinnacle Liquid Souveran and really like it but it its not cheap.

I've always used the Meguiar products in the past, but am open to new ideas.
What makes this wax better? Easier application and removal? Better protection and shine?
Not trying to be difficult, just not familiar with it and if it's better, then I'll for sure give it a try.

    Thanks!

Much better protection, they say it will last a year(I personally think this is optimistic) however, after almost two months on my car, it's beading like day one. I have never had a wax do that prior to this one. Wax in general will not increase shine, it's purpose is to protect the surface of the paint(polishing is where the shine comes from). This is a tin can old school paste wax, it is not as easy to put on or take off as the liquid waxes but it is far from difficult too.

I don't mind putting a little more elbow grease into protecting my paint, especially if the protection lasts longer than the other waxes that are easy to apply.
I'll find some and give it try.

    Thanks!

Interesting. I've heard other mention they've used this wax. So out of curiosity I hit up Amazon reviews.

Collinite has highest rated car wax products, both the paste and liquid, on Amazon out of 554 items. I may have to try this out.

It's priced well, I like to wax four times a year and it seems to hold up decently between.

Guys and Gals, it is almost the 5 month anniversary of my application of this Collonite wax and it STILL looks like I just put it on, I can't keep the water on the paint when I wash the car. I have never seen such an impressive wax, I will never buy another. This wax is very inexpensive, I highly reccommend you try it!

UPDATE; I know a lot of folks on here like the expensive waxes but I must report on the durability of this wax, it has now been 8 months since I waxed my car with this stuff and it STILL is like the day I put it on! I actually can't keep enough water on the paint to wash it, the water rolls right off instantly. I have never, in all my days seen such a wax. I have no interest in this company or a dog in the fight so to speak, I'm just trying to save my fellow members some dough and repeated waxing(s). Try it and become a believer!

I've been using Collonite insulator wax for 20 years, just put a winter coat on today.
It kicks every other wax I have used to the curb.
