to work on all the projects that have secretly been half started.. Here is one of them!

These are looking awesome! Does the 3rd gen have different shaped doors? I always thought they were the same

Yes they are different and not interchangeable with the 2nd Gen

Hopefully you don't run into the same problems that you did with the inserts for the previous model's door scoops.

Yes I am making the back attachment side a totally different way from the 2011-up but retaining the 3M Tape for
attaching. This "New" way I'm doing now was actually the original idea I was gonna do years ago, but then I had a "great idea" on a new moulding process to experiment with that did not work out at all... Now going back to the way I know is gonna work if that makes any sense.

Making A lot of progress. The Honeycomb will work this time no problem....

Since things are going so much better in making them this time around it'd sure be neet if you could batch up some add on inserts for the 2011's scoops.

Yes right after these are done, I'm redesigning the entire system for the 2nd Gen and they will have the same HC grille option. 80% of the work will
already be done so it will be easy

Here is the pending design of the brace mount that not only attaches the scoop to the car but also provides a mount for the honeycomb grilles

That honey comb insert looks great, very OEM looking. Can't wait to see the finished product!
