Dodge Charger Police 2013 electrical issue. Dashboard lights flashing, wipers uncontrollable, sometimes lose power, or sometimes car won’t start.

Hello, I’m looking for a possible explanation to my vehicle troubles. My Dodge Charger is a 2013 police package I bought at an auction. At first I did not have any troubles with it but shortly after purchasing the dashboard lights started flickering and the wipers would be uncontrollable. I thought this to be a minor inconvenience so I didn’t do much, but over time it has progressed to a worse situation. My vehicle still does all of the above but now sometimes while I’m driving it will lose power or not even turn on sometimes. It’s a very frustrating thing because I can’t determine when or where it will happen again so I cannot drive it, it happens sporadically. I’ve changed a few computer modules, checked the battery, also taken it to multiple mechanics and even the dodge dealership. No one has been able to diagnose the problem as many codes appear when using the scan tool. If anyone at all could help me with any leads or information on what to begin to look at I would be so appreciative and forever in your debt. Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully responding with any info you may have. Take care.

Only advice I can give is make sure your battery is good & all the connections are clean. It only takes a small drop in voltage to cause havoc with the electronics on modern cars. I've seen where people thought the battery was good only to have a sporadic short causing issues.

Thank you for your response, I’ve checked my battery and all the connections and they all checked out fine. I’ve received other info as faulty BCM or possible power steering pump issue. I may change the battery first, then the power steering pump, and then looking to the BCM or other wiring/electrical issues. If you come across any other information I’d be very happy to hear about it. Take care.
Sir did you find a solution to this problem?
Pls let me know..I got the same problem and its just as you say its getting worse..

hello Katherine. I solved this problem by changing the harness of the connections behind the cluster. It seems that the cables connecting the cluster to the hood were in poor contact. I changed the harness and it was solved
