Hi all,
I need to remove the driver's door armrest which is sunken in and replace it with the rear one from the same side which is like new. Do I have to remove the door panel and unscrew from underneath or do I simpley pry the armrest up and pop it out?

Yes you have to remove the whole panel. Should be the same at the 2011-14s.

In order to remove the arm rest from panel there’s no easy way to remove the screws. You need to use an extended screwdriver and unfortunately make a hole in the styrofoam to get to it. Which is no biggie because you’ll never see it anyway.

Just finished fixing my drivers side armrest by taking the door panel. Kinda hard to remove the screws to separate the armrest to the door panel. Then, glued back the cracked plastic mold, cut up some old credit cards, shaped and glued it then used epoxy to harden the back of the armrest.
