Default Finalized schedule and route information
Below is the finalized schedule and route information

Note that I changed the time of the event to start 30 minutes earlier, so we will meet at Quaker Steak at 1130! This will keep us from driving in the dark on the way to Oglebay, and it will get dark just as we arrive at the lights. $$$ Don’t forget $$$ - You will need $20 for going through the display of lights (another $5 gets you the DVD).

Schedule:

1130AM - Lunch, Meet at Quaker Steak and Lube (511 Clairton Blvd in Pleasant Hills, Southland Shopping Center)

1245/1PM - Depart Quaker Steak (if you aren't eating lunch, meet us at 1245 and we will leave at 1PM)

2PM - Mingo Creek Park in parking lot near Henry Covered Bridge (off of Mansion Hill Road and Mingo Creek Rd/SR1059)

***allow time for photos at covered bridges***

245PM - Depart Mingo Creek Park from Ebenezer Bridge Parking Lot

4/415PM - Brief stop at Cabela's in Triadelphia WV (if you aren't interested in the cruise but just want to go to Oglebay, meet here at 4PM, we will leave at 415) – If anyone needs to refuel, there is a Sheetz here near Cabela’s

445PM - Enter Oglebay - we are coming into the rear entrance of the park and taking
Route 88 to the main entrance to avoid the long wait time from the front entrance (I70 backs up all the way to the park if you go that way!) – The cruise through takes about 90 minutes total, longer if making stops at the zoo, gardens, or lodge.

There are a few restaurants in the park but if you want to eat, I suggest going somewhere near Cabela’s after going through the lights – the café and restaurant in the park are over-priced! There is no organized cruise home, so depart as you wish
