A friend is at a dealer in New Jersey. They have what they are claiming is a Dodge Limited edition numbered 2009 SXT General Lee edition. To the best of my knowledge, and I was selling dodge at that time, they never made a General Lee addition. They want $14K for it. Anyone ever here of this?

Never heard of it, does the dealership have a website. I would like to see what they are talking about.

No such thing as far as I've ever heard of. Probably an aftermarket shop did something on their own. If that's the case the dealer should know better than to try to pawn it off as an official numbered car, if it isn't. They can really get into trouble.

The link to the car is

Funny thing is my buddy pulled up in his red neck truck and talked to a salesmen who told him it was a limited addition numbered car signed by most of the cast and was listed at $42K. He left and talked to his wife about it.

I looked it up on the web and they had it listed for internet special of $11,900 and when he returned later and talked to a different salesmen was told $14K

Guy is lucky my friend isn't a real southern red neck or he might of gotten his @#% kicked :)

You can roll a turd in chocolate and sugar and make it look sweet, but guess what? It is still a turd underneath!
Doesn't matter how much orange paint they put on it, it isn't' a HEMI, and it isn't a numbered Dodge MFG car, this is a Charger that someone is trying to hide it's flaws to make a buck of some poor sap that loves the Duke boys by splashing some Orange around and painting a 01 on the doors. Sad.

Ask for some paperwork to verify the authenticity of the signatures. If those are real, whoever owned it would have had to been an idiot to not have gotten them and kept them... then again, considering the amount of transmission work done to it, who knows what they did to it while they owned it...
