I will be going through the build of our Hellcat here! We are stoked to get the car and begin the mods! The following details our first round of mods. I'll comment on them as time passes. Mickey Thompson 275/40R20 ET Street Drag Radials - These are excellent for general cruising on a stock Hellcat. I highly recommend them. Good in the rain up to 80MPH. They do not like standing water at 70-80 and will hydroplane. If you see standing water, slow to 60MPH or lower. On a modified Hellcat, they are still much better than street tires but will spin obviously. These were our daily driver tires before mods. Love'em. Mickey Thompson P305/45R17 ET Street R's - We are now daily driving these tires and wheels, and they hook much better than the 20's. Once you drive a while and they get hot, they hook pretty well on the street. They do NOT like rain. Period. Drive slow, as they have no water channels. Weld 17x10" S77 RTS - What's not to like? Beautiful wheels. Metco 2.85" Upper Blower Pully ATI +10% Damper + pinned crank Gates K100572HD Blower Belt Unlocked PCM, Diablo inTune i2 and custom tune. Speedlogix Catch Can 160deg Thermostat ID1000 Injectors Kenne Bell Boosta-Pump JBA Offroad Mids DSS Aluminum Driveshaft NGK 6510 Plugs BWoody 2" add-on Heat Exchanger www.Billet-Customs.com Decal Kits. Interesting Notes: Trouble Codes encountered during mods: (corrected with updated tune). PCM-P00EA: ISO/SAE Reserved - Apparently a transmission code not liking the additional torque. This only shows up at the track. Normal street driving doesn't throw this code. PCM-P0128: Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature) - Code with 160deg Thermostat Personal Observations: The Hellcat Charger is by far the most fun vehicle I have ever owned (before mods). I have owned a few interesting vehicles (no exotics) and think this statement means a lot. I suppose a Ferrari FX might be fun too but I'll never know. So for the common man, this thing is unbeatable! I know many of you say "Why mess with perfection?!" but I will tell you that this car (again) was the most fun I have ever had driving any on-road vehicle. And now, with this much power. . . Holy Cow! I am so glad I made the jump and modded this thing! It is freaking SICK!!! When I get into it, you can feel the raw, visceral, amount of power just clawing at the pavement. The acceleration is really incredible in 3rd and 4th gears. Thanks to DRP's dad for putting this together. As luck would have it, the timers were set up for 1/8 mile and not even working on my first run. But I have posted the time slip from a run after this one.
