I looked into them and wasnt that impressed. I am very happy with the sat radio.
The big thing you have to concider is will the hd last, look at all the things they try and then fail, so you dont want to invest into these things and then they dont support them and then you are stuck with the product, and cant use them.
Dvd vs laser disc ?
Blue ray vs hd dvd's? The consumers are the ones who choose what they like and then the companys responed with there suport with money into the products.
Thats only my take so please look into everything about it before you buy.

This is a very good answer. thx! i think i'll stick with my Sat radio also.

 

From what I heard from seasoned talk radio hosts, HD terrestrial radio is not actually High Def. They just call it that to look impressive. its the same FM radio signal, but they found a way to squeeze more channels into the same station. It will still be laiden with commercials too. It doesnt take out satellite yet. I have to do a lil more research about the technicals, but thats what I heard.

 

HD radio has been out for around 2 years now. it only uses your regular am fm siginal. it will only work where the siginal is being broadcasted from. yes they have been promoting this like it's the hottest thing around yet know one really knows anything. as far as i know dodge does not have anything specific for it but you can buy the tuners to use for 100 to 150.
