So over the time that I've had my car(since December) it would have a day once a week or every other where it just didn't have any power at all. When I hit from 50 it doesn't downshift or anything just coast up to about 70 then kinda speed up. Well over the last week and a half it's been doing like that constantly. My exhaust is extremely quiet while it's like this, and I have. I idea what direction to go in.

The only things I have done to my car is a cold air intake, mid muffle delete, cam and lifters were replaced in February(stock still), that's about it please help!

This is a completely off the cuff guess here but I wonder if it is an issue with the MDS?

    A 2009 6.1 doesn't have MDS

What happens if you manually downshift using autostick? Wondering if it is simply the transmission isn't downshifting holding the car back

Also why were the cam/lifters replaced? Just wondering if there is an issue with sensors

You should try pulling the fuse that powers the PCM for a minute to reset the adaptives and see if that helps. If you want to reset the TCM (transmission controller) you'll either need a tuner or disconnect the battery for a few minutes (resets the PCM also) and see if the pep returns to your ride.

So this is kind of weird but now it's driving completely fine I think maybe it has something to do with Chevron gas that's what I've been using since I got the car up until this incident. But even when I was using autostick it acted the same. But im gonna say it was the gas for now

Preciate the reply, but it's fine now I guess it was the gas I was using
