new alternator new battery within thirty minute battery light comes on then eps and track control light comes on control panel goes crazy and car dies and just clicks when you try and start it back up check parts all good. Any ideas anybody please help
Do you have a multitester? Sounds like you have a short or some other parasitic draw.
If you don't have one, you can get a decent digital unit for around ten bucks on that web site named after a river in South America.
The first thing I would try would be to disconnect the negative battery lead (the positive will work just as well, I just prefer to use the negative). Then set the multitester to Amps (10 AMP range, if possible), and connect one lead to the battery terminal, the other to the cable.
You should see substantially less than one AMP, maybe 100-250 milliamps or so.
If you see a higher reading, that's your problem. You can then start troubleshooting by removing fuses one at a time and re-testing, until you find the circuit that is causing your draw. You might have a bad switch, a burned wire, or other issue. With this test you'll be able to narrow down the problem more easily.
