When I swapped mines it was just plug and play nothing to prime. Are you having issues now that everything’s back together?

Have you checked for any engine codes stored?

Hmmm, it really sure bro. You can check for leaks possibly in the areas around the PCV valve hoses and the intake manifold when things were put back together, try cleaning your throttle body or recalibratng it by using this procedure:

A) put key to ON but dont start car, wait until all idiot lights go out (seatbelt light will remain lit) B) Slam the pedal to the floor hard like WOT
C) as soon as the pedal hits the floor, release your foot off of it completely letting the pedal snap up D) as the pedal is releasing itself, cycle the key from ON to Lock.

Some also disconnect the battery for about 15-30 mins to see if it allows the car to reset itself.
