If you want to test your differential mounting bushings jack at the differential. Many do it and are fine.
I was warned by a friend & neighbor, a Chief of Police for a small city near me who stopped by seeing mine going up via the diff saying one to many times and I'll be chasing a harmonic vibration (Hummm Hummm Hummm) thinking its the DS or center carrier, wheel bearings , tire or wheel or.... ?

So I use what he showed me they use on the cross member behind he diff. Just don't get NASCAR pit crew crazy, chock the front tires, put it on stands.

Thats a 1-1/4" x 8" tube 1/8" wall thickness.
I have never had a problem but I chock the front tires, down with a magnetic flashlight in place and lay down while pumping the jack to keep an eye on it. As you pump the jack it will roll a little with each stroke because of the geometry. So eyes-on always there. Always.

I have lots of stand & ramp options available but I put stands here if not on the ramps. I'm surprised they are not shown on the original post chart.

Heh! You are too kind.

I have several ways to skin the cat.

These are my pre-lifts. And for crawl room to lock down suspension fasteners at ride height.
You gotta coast up onto them or you will spit them them out. I have rubber liner under them but if one wheel hesitates
trying to drive onto them they come out like fired out of a canon. Gotta use momentum.

I needed another floor jack and there was a promotion to get the spread bar cheap. I have since made the pads smaller to prevent interference.

These cross bar photos are for demos. I rarely use it.

The pads are too large as supplied. I reduced them. As you can see in the rear lifting they would ether interfere
with the exhaust or spring arm.

I do drive onto these for oil changes.

As long as it doesn't hit anything else and is at least 1/8 thick.
