Hi everyone sorry for resurrecting this thread but I went to jack up my 2008 dodge charger because I been hearing thumping when accelerating in the rear end so I wanted to check the couplers and the center support but what I noticed was the rear jack points with the rubber are completely gone, rusted right out. So I am thinking I can jack it up from the diff but I still need somewhere where I can place some jack stands. If anyone has experience with this please let me know.

Thank you this is what I was looking for I will try jacking from here. Now I am wondering could I lift from here amd also use stands here too? Looks long enough.

You the best . That's why I post on here cause someone will have the knowledge I am looking for. Little too cold here In Canada right now. Had a warm spell last week but will be try8ng this weekend coming.

Wow I didn't even know they made something like that speard bar. I think that would be a good option cause icsn use it to jack the car up and then put jack point like you did. Where can I buy it? Also I was thinking of making wood stands for the back wheels too. Your the kind of guy I wish lived around me so I can come use your equipment lo. Currently living in a Co do so can't do any work on my car here so I take it to my son's place. Looking to get a house with a garage once my 5 year mortgage is up here in a year.

In this picture, what s8ie is the square tubing. Is it the one you say is 1-1/4" x 8" tube 1/8" wall thickness. I don't have that size . I have 1" and 2" square tubing. Could I use either?
