Hello everybody! Yesterday I traded in my 2012 SE for a 2011 r/t I just have some questions...first off it says the FCW is off and I know that has to do with the sensor but where is the sensor located? Also it has the 2 tone red and black interior which I’m not a huge fan of does anyone know if 2012 seats would sit right in there? Also I’m looking for a steering wheel upgrade because my 2012 had the steering wheel (and shifter knob) textured the same as the airbag on the steering wheel and I really liked that...I can’t seem to find the steering wheel with all the same buttons that’s heated any help??

One more thing is...would it be possible to transfer the heating element over to a new seat? I know anything is possible but would it be plausible or would I have to open up the seats?

The 2012 seats will fit in your car, and the heat element will transfer over. Ebay would be a good place to search for the steering wheel you want. If not there, a salvage yard might be able to find you what you want.

Do you know if the steering wheel heating element would transfer too? And if there is a way to transfer the buttons on my current wheel to a new one that doesn’t have the rt options on it?

I don't think you can move that heating element, but you can buy a steering wheel with the heated option with a little research figure out how to make it work. I'm pretty sure that the buttons from one wheel will replace the blank in the new wheel.

Ok I think I’ve decided against the seats because the red leather is growing on me haha I’m looking at a steering wheel on eBay that I think has the texture I’m looking for and it’s $70 but I cannot for the life of me find a shifter knob with the same texture that’s not $70 on eBay! I don’t know any good sites to look for used parts and no scrap yards here have any 2011-14 chargers

Post a pic of your interior. My son’s ‘13 Challenger RT has the two tone Radar Red interior. Absolutely rocks and is a throwback to the 60’s/70’s. I didn’t know they put it into the Charger RT’s.

Nice. By sons Challenger is like this with only the tops section and headrests in red with the sides in black.
