Street racing... and occasional 1/4 mile track use
What is the max 18 inch rim & tire combo that fits under back fenders?

And best sticky street radials to use?

Police pursuit, 5.7 stock with hemifever tune
No cat exhaust
AFE oem high flow air filter
392 LSD getrag diff

Thanks Tony in Florida

According to The Tire Rack, a 2011 Police pursuit (I'm guessing about the year of your model) will accept a 255/50-18 with a rim width diameter of 7 to 9".

Besides this???????
Tire rack IMHO does not give accurate info.... except for what they sell.....

I know for a fact there are a lot of people out there running 10, 10 1/2‘s and 11 inch rims and tires as big as 315 or 325 wide on Dodge Chargers ....
so why would I want to believe that being limited to 9 inches as tire rack is suggesting as the norm?

that why I am asking trying to receive the correct knowledge from those who know

or this....

I would jump on those wheels. Cheaper than the 17x9.5 Racestar Darkstar’s I run. I use 275 50 17 M&H Racemasters. Here is a comparison of my tire wheel combo vs the VMS with 305 45 18 per the link you posted. Go to rimsntires.com and you can enter oem size vs your tire wheel combo. I had to use shorter HHP sway bar end links. Hopefully someone that runs 18s will tell you what they run.
