I’ve been on the forumz for over 2 years now, you may have seen some threads showing my 2012 SXT Blacktop, but last week I was able to it trade-in for a 2015 R/T Road & Track Edition!

Feel free to check out my old Blacktop here!
https://www.chargerforumz.com/threads/a-blacktop%E2%80%99s-progression%E2%80%A6.177344/

And here was the new one before I took it home:

The upgrade from the Pentastar powerplant to the HEMI has been great! The six can definitely hold it’s own, but the eight is a beast! Plus all of the creature features of the R&T are amazing, from the comfort stuff like cooled leather and suede seats all the way to the things like the Dodge performance pages, I’m in love with this car! But now starts the journey into modding all over again, thankfully (or unfortunately?) it didn’t take long…

Before I’d even left the dealer’s lot, I placed a few orders at the Mopar Parts Desk! But no spoilers just yet, pics will be up when it’s done!

I followed that up with the Mopar Bright Pedal set, Mopar E-Brake Pedal and the Speedlogix Dead Pedal to match. This was actually one mod that I was able to remove from the old car and transfer over!

While I was at it, I installed the "75 Cent Mod" that so many have done. The dash, steering wheel, all 4 doors and the overhead console all recieved the treatment. Very pleased with the simplicity of the install, and the final outcome is great, just like everyone has shared!

Then I turned my attention to the exterior with a couple more low cost and easy-to-do mods, starting with the tail light tint kit from Luxe Auto Concepts!

Here's some shots of the kit, tinted light vs untinted, and the final product:

And then I finally rolled the dice on the EzLip rubber front "lip" that I've seen many 2015+ owners using. For being such a low cost item, I think it looks pretty great and helps the naked look of the front end. It's a great stop-gap option until a proper lip or splitter can be installed!

That's all for now, but not too bad for less than a week of ownership!

Excellent job, I really like what you've done with your car. One question for you. What do you call the red "piping" that you put on the interior (dash, steering wheel, etc.) and where do you get it? I happened to be watching a Charger video on YouTube the other day and that was the first time I had seen that. It looks really nice.

Thanks gentlemen!

@BobCollette, I believe the term for the search engine was "welt cord," but I followed a link from here on the ForumZ to the site where I ordered it, I'll do some digging!

Thanks! Much appreciated! The red button wound up being about a 10 minute mod, I was hesitant to pull the dash, but it turned out to be way easier than expected!

Went back to the dealer to pick up the first of the ordered parts. Left with this bad boy mounted on!

I will be having the vinyl reapplied so that it all matches up!

Stay tuned for more

Then I had the vinyl redone so that the hood would be covered too. I decided to ditch the red stripe and go with a set of matte black hellcat style stripes
