Well it seems like almost everyday I see a new thread from a new Charger owner asking about what mods they should start with, whats the best Cold Air Intake, etc etc.... Well if you are a new owner or a new modder here is a good place to start.

C.A.I.
(Cold Air Intake) is a must have. Easy to install, better mpg and performance. Fender mount or not is up to you. Pretty much all CAI will do the same thing for you.

Exhaust
. This is another easy mod. Most people have these done professionally but can be installed if you have jack stands and are comfortable doing it. Again, almost any catback system you get will do the same thing for you. So the brand you choose is up to you. Each company has their own sound so do some research on the brand you want. Hit up youtube for sound clips or the companies website.

Catch Can
. Will not give you any performance increase but will save your engine in the long run. Catch cans are designed to grab all the oil that normally is thrown back into your intake to be burned off.

180 Thermostat
. This is an easy 10 minute mod to help keep your engine cooler. It will not give you any performance increase. Normally our engines run around 210-230, but with this mod they will be running smoothly from 180-200.

Diablo Sport Tuner
. This is one of the best mods you can do to your Charger. Plug it in, tell it what you want, and load it on. You will see a significant increase in power when you do this mod.

If you are unsure on how to install some of these things visit the how to section where someone has probably already done a write up on it with pictures.

And of course any questions, please ask! That's what the Forumz is for!

Once you have completed all these mods you can start looking into more advanced stuff like a new throttle body, headers, high flow catalytic converters, new brakes, sway bars, strut bars, superchargers etc... The list never ends!
:D
Thanks bro!

Hey boss. You can always boost your car, the question you have to ask yourself is can you afford it? Are you prepared to pay out of pocket for more unexpected repairs? Just superchargering without reinforcing your internals have high risks. Vortech, MagnaCharger, Edelbrock just to name a few, have kits for your 3.5L motor.

I’ve seen dyno results that show there really isn’t much difference adding a CAI.
