Hi all,

I just joined chargerforumz and ordered my Charger last weekend.

If all goes well, I‘ll be the owner of a 2021 Scat Pack Widebody in Octane Red with black/red interior some time in the next two months. Options are Plus, Technology, Driver Convenience, Navi and Travel, and Harman Kardon groups plus sunroof.

As of now my order is in D status so I’m sure I have a while to go.

The Charger will replace a 2004 Acura TL in my fleet and will share daily driving use with my 2016 Dodge Durango R/T, and is almost identically equipped as the Durango, including the red interior.

My toys are a 1969 Dodge Dart GT convertible, a 2012 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, and a 1985 Toyota Celica GTS convertible which I’m trying to sell to free up garage space for the Charger.

I look forward to participating here and hearing about everyone else’s cars!

Welcome from Mississippi. Just ordered my 2021 Scat Pack in Pitch Black on 8/14. I'm in D1 status currently with an estimated ship date of 9/23. We'll see if it makes it. Already missed the first one.

Options are Plus, Driver Convenience, Carbon/Suede.

Thank you all!

I’ll probably end up getting the car just in time to park it for the winter!

Welcome to the Z, from Pittsburgh! That'll give you something exciting to look forward to in the Spring at least! (y)

Today I found out my car is in D1 status with an estimated ship date of 10/12. I’m not believing the ship date but I wouldn’t complain if it’s that soon.

I ordered the car on 9/5, and with manufacturing being what it’s been lately I’d be happy if I get the car by Thanksgiving.

Fingers crossed!

Definitely don’t hold your breath on the shipping date. I got my VIN, estimated ship date of 9/18 and was moved to D1 the week after I ordered my car. Since that time, almost two months later, I’m still in D1 and my ship date has been changed three times.

Currently slated for shipping on 10/7 but Brampton has been idled all this week until the 7th if I’m not mistaken, so I don’t think I’m gonna make that date either.

Yep, it’s stories like this which have me doubting the ship date.

I hope you get your car soon.

To make matters more complicated, I was reading on the ChallengerTalk board that Brampton is getting ready to switch over to 2022 model year stuff, and that transition is hogging resources that are already stretched thin.

Apparently some of our Canadian friends have been waiting on Challengers over a year.

I don’t mind the delays, I just wish Dodge would be more open with customers. Every time I contact them I just feel like I’m getting a scripted response. My dealer tries to get more information but it’s limited at best.

I’ve been checking the window sticker URL several times daily for weeks and today my window sticker popped! I confirmed with Dodge chat the car has in fact been built, about eight weeks after ordering, which isn’t bad considering everything going on in manufacturing these days.

Now it’s a matter of how long it’ll take to arrive at my dealer. I’m hoping no more than two weeks but we shall see.

Fingers crossed!

That's great news! Seems like our cars are line buddies. Mine finished up the build on Friday and I was able to pull up my equipment list on Saturday morning. DodgeChat says its pending inspection, and I can't get my window sticker yet.

I've seen a lot more reports in the past week or two of people finally getting their cars built so I hope Dodge is catching up. Read somewhere that the plant was 50+ days behind on orders.

We both have something to look forward to!

I’m still not getting results from the build sheet site but I’ll check again tomorrow.

Good luck, I hope you get your car soon!
