so 5 months and roughly 8k miles from having bought the car, ive seriously enjoyed owning my 2012 mopar, however, there is an issue that has been plaguing the car. The power steering. When I test drove the car I instantly noticed a slight creek that can be felt through the steering wheel when turning left, and only left. Bringing it to the dealer's attention, they give it to their service department where they come to the conclusion that its the power steering pump. They replace it for free, but it doesn't fix the problem. On top of that, since then, the steering wheel feels more "strict" when it comes to turning any which direction. They say that since it doesn't compromise the safety of the car that it's basically a nothing-burger. Take it to my trusted mechanic and even they say that the problem is unidentifiable, and doesn't compromise my safety, so it's a nothing-burger. It's also intermittent, so it doesn't happen every time I turn left. Months later and this intermittent creaking when making a left is still here, no better or worse than it was when I bought the car. Any ideas what it could be that maybe they couldn't forsee? And is the steering supposed to feel more tight/strict upon getting a new pump?

Power steering should not feel tight or restricted under normal conditions. Assuming they purged all the air out of the power steering pump, when they replaced it, the steering should feel unrestricted. If replacing the power steering pump didn't fix it I'm guessing the problem is something else.
Could be friction in the intermediate steering shaft/coupler, outer tie-rod end or lower ball joint.

I had the same issue with mine when I bought it it made a funny noise when I turned. Was in the shop 4 times they couldn't pin it down. I knew what it was when I drove it on the test drive and told the sales guy it was the rack but the service people said it was fine. After months of fighting them they replaced it now its fine. Shortly after I got a notice from dodge saying that my rack is under a recall. so do check on it it could be a recalled rack.
