The electric power steering pump is located directly under the washer fluid reservoir. You can access it by removing the front passenger side wheel and wheel well cover.

Most issues with steering pump have been leaks from around the 2 seals of the reservoir fluid tank. A replacement tank and seals can be purchased separately rather than entire pump assembly which is very expensive. It is a relatively easy repair for the average person to perform.
