I replaced my window regulator and when I made the window go up and down, the wires were pulled out of the connector. I assumed I just hadn't paid attention to where the wires were sitting. I ordered another regulator and this one worked as well. I cleaned all the tape goo off my window and put the speaker back on. I put the window back up and down and the wires got pulled out again!!! What am I missing?? I did put the wires that have a plastic connector into the metal of the door. I have ordered a third motor and don't want to make the mistake again!!

Front door or rear door? Since you mentioned speakers I'm assuming front door.
Position the regulator rail within the door so that the door wire harness connector can be
reconnected to the regulator motor through the speaker mounting hole on the inside of the door - near the front.
With a rear door, position the regulator within the door so that the door wire harness connector can be reconnected to the regulator motor through the large access hole on the inside of the door.
