I have been trying to get Alfaobd working on my 2008 Dodge Charger RT LX platform and on my 2013 300S I believe also on the LX or LD platform.
First I tried a cheap bluetooth dongle( clear blue plastic) that I was using with Torque app, but this one would not connect to the both cars using Alfaobd.
Then I bought a Veepeak BLE+ and again Alfaobd will not connect to the car, it connects to the Dongle but then fails to get access to the ECU.
I gave in and bought 1 vin sub using JSCAN and it does connect to the 2008 Dodge Changer and has a lot of cool tools but I don't want to pay again for a new sub which is why I want to get Alfaobd working so I can use it on multiple vechicles.
One weird thing I notice was trying to use the blue dongle with jscan, it kept giving me a message saying it could not find a subscription.
I have been told that the OBDLINK dongles will work but they are expensive.
AlfaOBD natively supports Electronic Control Units (ECU) installed on the FCA (Fiat Chrysler) group vehicles.

What I want to know is what dongles you guys/gals are using and have had success with, if it is the OBDLink then I might just have to pony up and spend the $200 plus CND on one.
