Follow the wires back, the yellow item looks like a ( Charge Guard ). It is a basic timer and relay for when the ignition source has been turned off. It should have a ground, 12 volt input, ignition input, 12 volt timed output. The cat 5 splice looks like a siren/lights control cable. just follow them back and heat shrink the ends.

So, I just can't cut the rats Nest dam it
Yes you can cut the wires, just follow them. Cut them where they attach to the factory harness.
I don't want to follow them to the factory harness. I just want to cut out the wires right there for the passenger side so I don't have them pushing out the rubber covering.
A lot of those wires are longer then the factory stuff so you should be safe cutting it all out but if you don't spend the time following it back you risk shorting something out and having problems just like the half assed decommissioning job that some departments do. Its not that hard to pull the seats and lift up that side of the rubber floor.

Then just cut them, don’t worry about the aftermath. Why worry, about it. It’s your ride, your going to do your thing.
I cut out the rats nets zero issues.
