I reset my PCM quite a few times and was told that once done to "drive it like I stole it" for a short time to sinc in a aggressive "tune" or to have the car learn my driving style. So I'm thinking if I had two identical cars, one driven by a little old lady and one driven by a very aggressive person the one driven by the aggressive person will perform better? and if that's the case isn't there any way to flash that PCM and replace its memory with a aggressive one without driving it "like I stole it"?

I reside with a little different school of thought on this subject. Yes, the car has adaptives and with change up the way the car drives around town etc, trying to put you in a higher gear for MPG etc.... but to me, mashing the pedal regardless of adaptives will result the same.

FYI, installing a new tune clears the adaptives, or you can go into quick adjustments, transmission, and reset the tranny adaptives from their

For me, it didn't matter if I "drove it like I stole it" after a reflash. I've done this and it didn't make that big of a difference.

One thing these cars WILL do is respond to aggressive driving in a short period of time. If I drive my car at excessive speeds and dive on the brakes coming down an exit ramp the car will respond. Meaning the transmission will down shift hard and hold the gear if I jump back into the throttle. Then when I do come to a stop and take off the trans will upshift much harder than before and most of the time chirp the tires. Of course the car feels more powerful too because of the improvement of the shifting.

You can drive Ms. Daisy around all day, week or year long but just as soon as you start beating on the car it WILL repsond. The harder you drive it the more it responds. No real NEED to reset PCM.

I still ain't chirping tires just out the blue. Just don't get it. But anyway, I felt my car slugging today while I was trying to be aggressive. Felt it wasn't right but not horrible. So Before I left my destination, I reset adaptives via predator and drove back in same manner and the difference was absolutely noticeable.
