Yeah yeah we should all wear one. I don't. How do I get rid of the chime? It last for a good 5 miles 10 minutes or so....

This has always worked on every Mopar I've had. Get in, close door, buckle seat belt, turn ignition to on, but don't start. After seat belt light turns off, unbuckle and buckle seat belt three times within 10 seconds, ending with it buckled. Should hear a single chime. That's it. I find that going slow and taking most of the 10 seconds yields better results. May have to try a few times to get it.

I used my Tazer to turn off the seatbelt chime. I don't need a reminder (or a law) to do what should be common sense.

Always wear your seat belt. I speak from experience.
