Hi Guys, I recently purchased a 2014 State trooper car with worn out Nivomat shock/struts in the rear. My question is should I replace them with another set of self-leveling Nivomat (pricey) or would it be ok to go with a traditional shock spring set-up (way cheaper)? I assuming that they put them in the police edition for all the extra weight they put in them gear, prisoners etcetera. Any knowledge is appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome from AZ. I think they were installed on Challengers as well so may not be a police only option. You should be able to replace rear shocks only and front struts.

Welcome to the forum from Western NY. My '06 Daytona also had the Nivomat shocks. I suspect that they can be replaced with "regular" shocks. Of course, you'll lose the self-leveling feature.
