I got an issue with my 2006 R/T. There is a clunking coming from the front end when I go over any kind bump. The car is lowered and the anti sway bar end were just replaced. I had my mechanic go over the control arms and tie rod ends and they were said to be fine. Could it be time for new struts? If so do I need to get a special length strut for my lowered vehicle? Also what kind of strut do you recommend, I like the best when ever possible.
    Thanks

I've got an 06 rt as well, w/ a noisy front end. Considering purchasing a 14 piece front end suspension rebuild kit for $184.99 from partsw.com. The price seems right, however the parts origin is suspect. I'm in the process of getting a labor install price.
Seems like the kit parts are many of the same ones I've seen/read about that fail. Also, sway bar bushings are cheap ($10. or so), and an easy install. Good luck!

Sway bar bushings. Cheap. Sounds like a Q-Ball bouncing in your glove box?

When I had this problem, it turned out to be the upper control arm ball joints, though everything was pretty much shot by 120,000 miles.
