    Thursday's scheduled live action!

Thursday Event- Mopar Week "Charity Ride" at Hard Rock Cafe

    Event time 10am until 6pm

Come join the Mopar Week staff at The Hard Rock Café for the Mopar Week Charity Ride and support the Wounded Warrior Project. Event registration starts at 10am at the bar patio outside the pyramid. Cost for the charity ride is $20.00 per vehicle, with the proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project. Each participant will receive a commemorative 2013 Mopar Week poker chip at each of the four stops. Departure time from The Hard Rock Café will be around 12pm and return around 6pm. Times may adjust due to participation.

The charity ride will start off by heading south from The Hard Rock Café down US 17 through Murrell’s Inlet, Pawley’s Island, and Brookgreen Gardens to the port city of Georgetown. From US 17, we will head north from historic downtown Georgetown via US 701 and run through the backwaters of the coast with the first stop at Bucksport Marina, which rests on the Waccamaw River and Intracoastal Waterway.

While at the marina, food and drinks will be available at Cap’t Seaweed’s Restaurant, with ride participants receiving 10% off their food orders. Leaving Bucksport Marina, we will head back north on US 701 through Conway to SC 90, then to the second stop, La Belle Amie Vineyard in Little River.

While at La Belle Amie Vineyard, you will be able to sample some of the finest wines along the coast and take a tour of the winery to see how the process of winemaking is done. While here, participants will also receive 20% off select vineyard purchases over $25.00.

From Little River, we will head south onto US 17 back towards The Hard Rock Café. With this being the final stop, come show off your Mopar in front of the pyramid or enjoy a relaxing evening on the patio with 10% off your food. After everyone returns from the cruise and is settled in, two selected participants that have collected all four poker chips will receive a Hard Rock Café/Mopar Week gift package and a free entry pass into the Mopar Week car show on Saturday.

Please keep in mind that this will be well over 100 miles of driving and fueling up before beginning the route is strongly recommended. Regular business hours of The Hard Rock Cafe may differ from event hours.

The Mopar Week staff will be on site and available to answer any questions and provide updates and information about the ride and the rest of the week’s events. Subscribe to the Mopar Week’s Facebook page to receive updated information on either event changes or on Mopar Week.
