no she was fine. she couldnt have been going anymore then maybe 20 mph. the other was just parked on the side of the road, no one in it.

Tough break brother. I got these kind of problems out of the way back in '94, I had a brand new truck less then a week old. My wife backed out of the driveway and plowed into a parked car on the other side of the street. Came in the house and said, Your POS truck just hit a parked car. She has never been allowed to drive my rides again.

Crap can I delete this thread. This is not helping my battle in getting my husband to let me drive our car to to the Oklahoma meet n greet. Driving from Pennsylvania to Oklahoma.

I just had this conversation yesterday.

Our 5 year old daughter. "Mommy can we take two cars" the kids don't want to share the back seat. Lol

Me "No honey it's a long drive and if daddy gets tired I may need to drive"

dude that is funny as shit,. Well now it is.. My wife knows that she is not driving ANY of my cars. Even if it was a VW bug. She needs a car she gets a rental..NO EXCEPTIONS...

The extra set of keys are for 3 reasons.

Me in case I do something stupid and lose mine.
If the house is on fire (please move it).
For urgent need of immediate medical attention and I have her car.

 

He now sleeps with keys...hehe !

 

thats too bad.i dont let anyone drive my car ....i have a second car for the kids to learn on andthey dont even want to drive the charger..im a little obsessive over it..

yea its a good thing u were out of the country,but glad u got her all fixed up,yes my wife would b banned for life!!! but i dont have to worry bout that,i cant get my wife to drive my car,ive tried,she now has her own mopar.

 

I remember when my wife took my old 1995 Cobra along the side garage. Same thing...crying when she called. All I could get out of her was "sorry" and "Cobra".

 

I have been married 21 years, I am a good husband, and provide a nice living, but there is one set of keys for my SRT, and that stays on my key ring. Keep the keys away.
