This is the very first car I've had that has actual film tint on the widows. The original dealer had the tint installed before the car was delivered, and it's on the window sticker as a dealer intalled option. There's also a sticker on the driver door jamb from the installer.
When I bought the car, there was a sales sticker on the driver side rear door window. I thought the dealer had removed the sticker and associated goo from the window, so I never looked. So today I finally noticed the goo left on the inside of the window.
I know a razor blade is for sure a no-no on the tint.
Will goo-gone remove the tape residue without messing up the tint?
Alcohol? (rubbing, not drinking - lol)
Advise/options welcomed!
Thanks!
